The Gold King Mine & Ghost Town is just 3/4 of a mile past the Jerome Fire Department on Perkinsville Rd. If you’re thinking of walking there, you may wish to reconsider as there are two long and steep hills before you reach the gates on Perkinsville Road.  The road is paved these days and there is plenty of parking, even for RV’s!  If you are a photographer or interested in old vehicles and rusty parts with old wooden buildings, this is the place for you!

The Gold King Mine & Ghost Town also offers tours for small groups including school groups, etc.  There is a small entry fee for hours of fun and exploration for the entire family.
